Our Story

Founded in 2010 in Vancouver, BC by Bryce Pasechnik and Quentin Miller, VeriClock was created to solve real-world time tracking challenges for mobile and distributed workforces. As a contractor, Quentin experienced firsthand how difficult it was for growing companies to accurately track employee time across multiple job sites and prepare payroll without relying on paper timesheets. Partnering with Bryce and Eddy Phillips, who brought deep software development expertise, they built a cloud-based time tracking system designed for complex, multi-location operations.

From the beginning, VeriClock focused on eliminating manual timesheets, improving real-time labor cost visibility, and simplifying payroll preparation for construction, field service, and compliance-driven organizations. Unlike many time tracking tools, the platform emphasized deep Sage and Intuit QuickBooks integrations, accurate job costing, and mobile workforce management for companies operating across dynamic job sites.

Today, more than 6,000 companies and nearly 30,000 employees use VeriClock to manage time tracking, payroll exports, job costing, and compliance reporting. As the platform continues to evolve, VeriClock is investing in SOC 2 compliance, enhanced data security architecture, and HIPAA-aligned safeguards to support healthcare, construction, and multi-entity organizations.
